Join our 2026 Children’s Week in the Houses of Parliament

This August, Siobhain will once again host her much-loved Children’s Week.

A highlight in the calendar for many local families, Siobhain welcomed over 600 children and parents to Parliament during her 2025 Children’s Week. This year, families can once again enjoy a tour of Parliament, quizzes, games, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at life in Westminster.

Held over three days, Children’s Week 2026 will take place on:

  • Wednesday 26th August

  • Thursday 27th August

  • Friday 28th August

The days are open to all primary school-aged children in Mitcham and Morden, who can be joined by up to one parent or guardian.

Siobhain believes Parliament should be open and accessible to everyone. Over the years, she has welcomed thousands of local residents through its doors, giving people the chance to see inside one of the country’s most historic buildings.

School summer holidays can be an expensive time for families, which is why Siobhain first started her Children’s Day events 29 years ago – providing a fun, educational and completely free day out for children across Mitcham and Morden.

Places are limited, so make sure you don’t miss out! To book your place, please email Siobhain at siobhain.mcdonagh.mp@parliament.uk.
