Siobhain discusses Mitcham roadworks with Thames Water and SGN

On 17th April, Siobhain met with Thames Water, SGN, and Merton Council at the Gardeners Arms in Mitcham to discuss the impact that over a year of roadworks has had on this much-loved pub. Works on London Road outside the pub have caused major disruption, blocking off pavements, relocating bus stops and hurting business.

At the meeting, both SGN and Thames Water committed to assisting the pub’s manager with compensation applications. Moving forward, Siobhain will organise an advice event for local businesses affected by disruption, helping them access any support they need.
