Choosing the right secondary school is one of the biggest decisions any parent will make. With questions about admissions, application forms and how best to prepare children for the move, the process can often feel overwhelming.
That’s why Siobhain is hosting a free parents’ briefing at 7pm on Wednesday 15th October in the Council Chamber, Merton Civic Centre, Morden.
At the meeting, experts will be on hand to:
Explain school admissions policies
Talk through completing application forms
Share practical advice on supporting children as they move from primary to secondary school
Siobhain has been visiting schools across Mitcham and Morden to hand out leaflets and speak directly with parents about their concerns.
She said:
“I know how stressful choosing a secondary school can be for families. This briefing is a chance for parents to ask questions and get clear, practical advice so their children can have the best possible start to their new school.”
All parents are warmly invited to attend.
