Renters Rights Awareness Week

Between 14th - 20th June, Generation Rent UK are hosting Renters Rights’ Awareness Week - a free week of events for private renters.

Every evening between 6 - 7pm there will be an advice session - including getting help with paying the rent, getting repairs done and what to do if you are threatened with eviction.

It is a scandal that one in eight private rented homes in England are unsafe to live in. Overcrowding and poor housing conditions are significant safety concerns which will be affecting the health, safety and wellbeing of so many in our community.
