04 August 2016

mandspetition Pressure is mounting on M&S' chief executive Steve Rowe to abandon a pay cut for his staff as the UK Change petition Siobhain has helped to launch reaches 65,000 signatories in just one week.

The company is consulting its staff over cutting premium pay on Sundays, and cuts to pay for bank holidays and employees working at anti-social hours, which could hit 7,000 staff. M&S is also considering reducing pension contributions, potentially affecting 11,000 employees.

Siobhain has been contacted by 125 members of staff from across the country - some of whom will be losing out by up to £6000 per year as a result of the proposed changes.

If you haven't already, PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE the petition, to get M&S to change its position on the pay cuts!
