Looking for work? Home / Mitcham and Morden / Looking for work? Unemployment remains one of the greatest concerns of people living in Mitcham and Morden, and I am doing my best to help local people find work. For instance, I have organised work placements for local young people. Here's the picture I took of everyone at the last graduation day, which was held in the Houses of Parliament. If you are an employer – or if you know anyone who runs a business or voluntary organisation who might like to help a young person get experience in the workplace – I’ve just opened applications for potential job providers, and I hope you can help. I have also organised an open day, where people of all ages could get training on the best way to apply for a job, and how to do well at interview, from HR experts at the US engineering firm C2HMHill. I thought you might like to see the advice everyone received. I hope you think they are helpful! To check out some of the best Job Boards on the internet, click here.
